he Teacher’s Guide gives full support and guidance to teachers using Let’s Think through
9. Chapter 2 provides information about the theory of thinking. Chapter 3 shows
Science! 8 &
9 translates theory into practice. General guidelines for
how Let’s Think through Science! 8 &
using the activities in the classroom are provided in Chapter 4, which also provides a step-by-
step guide on how to begin using the programme (see page 11). Chapter 5 describes how the
programme was developed. Full instructions for each activity are given in Chapter 6.
The Resource Section at the back of this book contains photocopy masters for all the
Resource sheets that you will need for the activities. Some of the activities also use common
materials that you will already have in school, or could obtain or make easily.
The At-a-Glance Guide (which faces this page) provides you with a quick reference: it will
help you to get an overview of the programme and remind you of how it should be used.
